Information accurate to best of ability as of 22 November 2016

1Due to its heavy travel and migration restrictions, North Korea is almost entirely racially homogenous. There are small communities of Chinese and Japanese, but these communities are extremely small.

2Syncretic Chongdo, or the Religion of the Heavenly Way, is a state-sponsored religion. Confucianism is also found among several North Korean residents. Numbers for these religions are not readily available.

3 This data is from the 2008 census. Like other data pertaining to North Korea, city population data is difficult to find.
